Services Know what's working
Decisions with evidence behind them.
"I'm spending time and money on marketing, but I don't know what deserves more attention." I help you see where inquiries come from, how they move from request to estimate to booked job, and what to improve next. Based in the Chicago area, working with clients across the United States.
Start with a simple scorecard, not a custom dashboard.
For most businesses, a few measures with consistent definitions, reviewed together, regularly, beats a dashboard nobody opens. More advanced reporting comes later, if the data and the decisions justify it.
- Tracking plan and setup: what to measure, defined once, measured the same way every time.
- Lead-source reporting: where inquiries actually come from, in plain language.
- Simple marketing scorecards: request to estimate to booked job, so you can see what turns into work.
- Campaign and website analysis: what changed, by how much, and what might explain it.
- Prioritized recommendations: what deserves attention next, with periodic reviews where they fit.
Tracking is never perfect. I'll tell you exactly where it isn't.
Small samples get labeled as small samples. Missing data gets labeled as missing, not dressed up as certainty. I'm clear about the difference between an inquiry, a qualified opportunity, and a customer, because mixing them up is how businesses make bad bets.
Measurement earns trust by admitting what it can't show.
What working together looks like.
- We start with the decision you need to make, not with the data you happen to have.
- I set up the tracking and the scorecard, then we review it together so the definitions stick.
- Each review ends with a short list: what to keep doing, what to change, what to watch.
- If the business outgrows the scorecard, we talk about what's next, only when the decisions justify it.
Every engagement gets its own written scope and price before anything starts.

You don’t need a finished brief. A few lines on what your business does, what’s getting in the way, and any timing that matters is plenty.
